Its Homework Time! - Scrap the Boys June Challenge

As most of you who visit my blog will know I am a sucker for a good sketch - and this months challenge at Scrap the Boys is a great multiphoto sketch. How could I go past this one?
The photos that I chose are an adorable trio of candid shots that
I took recently whilst Benji was doing his homework. He is the sort of kid that wears his emotions on his face and these photo really did tell the story well.
I love making grungy arty backgrounds and I had a blast with this one! I combined some of my favourite spray inks with a couple of my favourite masks. My papers and stickers are exclusively October Afternoon - mainly 'Treasure Map and 'Public Library'.

I love these black brushstroke 'Thickers' for a bold title - they are so striking and seem to match this mixed media style of scrapbooking well.

Hope you are having a great start to the week - Its a wet Monday here in Auckland :)
