And still she Smiles - Off the Rails Scrapbooking July challenge

Just a last minute page to end the month! This is the July mood board at 'Off the Rails Scrapbooking' and my take on it. How could I resist those gorgeous girlie colours?
My little girl recently broke her nose and on Monday she had surgery to fix the deformity.  She was such a little trouper throughout and  never lost her smile - except when she had the drip put into her hand! Her biggest concern was that she would have to miss her ballet classes for a few days and ofcourse no diving either!
The mood board colours went perfectly with my photos and I managed to make a square photoblock from a montage of 4 instagram photos.
Here are a couple of close-up shots:

I used the tiny stamp set that I got with my last Studio Calico PL kit to spell out the phrase 'You are Awesome' I think these will become a favourite 'go to' set in my collection!
Hope you have a great weekend :)

Wow - what a trooper indeed!
I love your take on the moodboard. The colours you've used are fantastic and really work well with the photos. I'm also loving that you've journalled on the page!
Thank you for sharing with us at Off the Rails Scrapbooking.

Good girl Sophie! She turned a nasty accident into lots of smiles! And you made a beautiful lay out of the photos. Brilliant! I love the background with stamping but the photos take centre stage.

This layout is fantastic Sarah (despite the not so happy subject). I love the collage of pics you used and that fabulous background you created! Thank you for playing along with us at OTR. :)
