Jump - 'Stuck?' Sketches Dec 1st

Another cracker of a sketch from Laura and her team at 'Stuck?' sketches. Here is my take on it.
I took the photos at Benjis school junior athletics day. He really enjoyed all the events but the long jump was his favourite - and he was really good at it considering that he is the smallest boy in his class :)
I used some October Afternoon nautical themed papers for this page - I just selected the less-themed papers and embellishments. I kept to a green/yellow/brown colour scheme which always seems to enhance outdoor photos. Here are a couple of close up shots to see the details and journaling.

Have a great week - can't believe that it is already december and a month away from a brand new year! I love this time of year - especially the long summer days of January when the kids are home from school and we head off on our annual family holiday together! Got to survive Christmas first though!!!

Sarah this is fantastic! The black inking and doodling make all the page elements just pop and the yellow, green and teal are awesome together! Thanks for joining us at Stuck?!

STUNNING! I love your action shots...clever capturing your Boy doing his jumps....& the OA papers work a treat. My fave bit is all the bg work....it's subtle, but it really makes it all stand out soooo beautifully. She really does have super duper sketches....now, if Dec will slow down a bit I might have time to join in. [CUE: spluttering in my tea!!!!!] I'm getting Lucas to put up our Chrissy decs tomorrow. First time. Hoping he loves it & will do it EVERY year, LOL!!!!
