The kids are back at school this week and I finally have a little time to scrap. I have a huge pie of gorgeous summer photos - I have used most in my pocket scrap book but a few of my favourites deserve a page of their own.
I love Laura's sketches over at Stuck? and this one was no exception - plus I could fit 3 photos on my page using the design. The mood board for February at Kaisercraft also caught my eye as I love their 'Sandy Toes' collection and planned to use it for my page anyway!
The main photo that I used is a 'selfie' that I took on the beach. I love the way the kids are caught in the background making a sand pool. The photo of Daisy is a little special as it was her very first holiday with us.
I used papers from the Kaisercraft 'Sandy Toes' collection (one of my all-time favourites).
Most of the ephemera and tags are also from this collection. I kept the design very close to the sketch and the page fairly simple to not overshadow the photos.
