Thursday already - where do the days go to! Yesterday was the WBHS athletics meet. All three boys were participating. Chris in pretty much everything he could, Jaime in 100m, javelin and discus and Adam in 100m, 1500m, long jump and a few other events. Well all our boys did us proud. They ran, jumped and threw to the very best of their ability, always with great sportsmanship. I was one proud mama! They are all in Murcheson house which is great as they are all pulling together for the one cause!
The star of the day though was Adam. He won the 1500m race by half a lap setting a new Westlake junior record for that distance (4 mins 49 secs). He ran a superb race giving it everything that he had. When he crossed the finish line he was totally spent. He is an amazing runner - he doesn't train at all its all just natural talent. Imagine what he could do with regular training sessions.
The Bizous launch at NZ Scrapbook last night was so fun. the product line is absolutely to die for. Natalie and I really enjoyed meeting up with everyone and spending some cash! Thanks Kathleen for Natalies goodie bag. She was absolutely thrilled with it!
Here is a LO that I finished yesterday using some free "Doodlebug" paper that I got from a magazine. I love the photo of Sophie and the snowman. She adores these "Peek-a-Boo snowmen. We get them out each year on Dec 1st to celebtate advent. I think she now realises that this means Christmas is not too far away. She goes outside whenever she can to kiss and cuddle them - how cute is that?
