Kanga cup final today

Well, I can't believe how fast another week went by. Adam gets home tomorrow - Yay!!! Sophie has really missed her big bro. When i told her there was only one more sleep till he gets back she said "I'm so happy I think I'm going to cry!" How sweet is that! the team have played well and won their way through to the final which they play today against Adelaide. So its fingers crossed for us this morning. Its tough not being able to go along to cheer the team on.

Natalie has been busy rehersing for the Australian dance competition that she is taking part in this weekend. It will be her first experience of a competition so it should be a fun experience for her. She loves to perform and nerves are never a problem for her (wish I was more like that).

Jaime and Chris are busy socialising and making the most of their holiday, though the freezing weather has limited their activitites. They are hoping to get together with a bunch of mates for a friendly soccer game today.

Here are a couple of LO that I have been working on. The first one of Adam on his 14th birthday was for the 'So you think you can Scrap' competition. It was Louises style and i found it quite a difficult challenge, especially with the muted, rich colours. I like the result though. The second LO is one that I did after taking jaime and the girls to Kelly Tarltons on Monday. It was Sophies first time there since she was a baby and she was transfixed by all the marine life. She especially loved the giant turtles and the antarctic ride. The older kids enjoyed experiencing the magic again through the eyes of their 3 year old sister. I traced the sting ray accent onto grunge board from clip art that I downloaded.
