Missing Summer Already!
These photos of my daughter and little son at the beach were taken only a few short months ago. Looking at the sunshine and the sand and sea really makes me miss summer and winter isn't even here properly yet.
I based this LO on this weeks sketch from the fabulous Sketchy Thursday challenge blog. The Sassafrass papers are from the equally fabulous Scotty Craft! I flipped the sketch and replaced the circular elements with squares of patterned paper containing circular embelishments. Lots of sketching and inking gives a worn feeling to the bright papers. I used Studio Callico colour mist for the background inking. If you haven't tried it you should. The colours are really strong and true. They are now my favourite spray inks!
