Fun Days
I haven't done a colour room challenge for a while, but when I saw this weeks combo I was inspired to get out my paint and give it a go. I have had these photos in my 'to scrap' pile for a few weeks now (my daughter really wanted me to scrap them). I actually have a whole series of crazy shots that the girls took on the day but these were two of my favourites. They were spending the afternoon at our place making a giant 'one direction' poster for a radio competition in which they were giving away tickets to the recent show. The girls didn't win, but they had a great time anyway!!
I used acrylic paint on my background and left over strips of MME paper. I downloaded the journaling card on-line and printed it out. The butterflies are 'Studio Calico' and the rest of the embellies are mainly 'Prima'.

This one really pops! I like the use of the sepia photo.
This is a bit different for you, Sara - not so much bg going on, but it's really great [fun photos], especially that red paint..love those colours:):):)

Amazing! The red paint and the white butterflies contrast eachother so well, really an eye catcher!
