A Happy memory - CSI 174

This is my page for CSI's current challenge (174). It was supposed to be ready for the design team reveal but my little son broke his foot jumping from the school playground and I didn't get to finish it any where near in time. So, here it is - better late than never!
This page is a little different from my usual. I was browsing the work of one of my favourite scrapbook artists - Napur Patel and realized how much I loved her minimalistic style. It is really great to showcase a single photo printed in a small size. I was inspired to have a go myself and really like how it turned out - thanks Napur :)
The photo is a single shot of Adam and his lovely girlfriend Isabel taken at his 21st earlier this year. They both look so happy and were having so much fun.

The CSI colours were perfect for the photo. I used chevrons and travel themed ephemera from the evidence list and journaled about Adams special day held at our local village pub - the Malt House. There is more journaling on the back of the page.

Thanks for looking at my page today. Do check out CSI's reveal here. We would love to see your takes on this challenge - there are some really great prized up for grabs (as always at CSI!).

Now that is interesting, because before I even read your words, the first thing I thought was that it was different from your usual style! So it really is, eh? Love the lightness in the bg & the sort of strip across the page style....looks great & they do look v happy:) Nupur is an amazing scrapper, eh? Hope B's foot is on the mend. Poor thing. No soccer or sport for a while:/
